3 Weeks. 2000km. 1 Cause. Luc & Joris Cycling for Change.

From 1st June 2025, Luc Moens and Joris Popma, former Treasurer and volunteers with City Streets Community Project, will be embarking on a bold cycling challenge — riding from Maastricht, Netherlands, all the way to Calpe in Spain.

That’s right — nearly 2,000 kilometres across varied terrain, pushing through elevation gains of up to 16,580 meters, all within just three weeks. That’s an average of 90–130 km per day, depending on the difficulty of the journey, particularly when crossing The Pyrenees.

Their aim is to raise crucial funds and awareness for City Streets Community Project, a non-profit organisation based in Benidorm which supports vulnerable individuals with vital services, shelter, friendship and care.

Luc and Joris have both seen first-hand how impactful the charity is — and now they’re taking to the road to help the team support those in need.
