A Sponsored Walk in Aid of the family of young Jake Oliver. Saturday 4th September 2021.

A typical young kid, i am sure we all know one just like wee Jake. Everytime you see the wee man, theres a glow in that smile.

Last September Jake Oliver at the age of 4 should of been enjoying just starting primary school, making new friends and learning. However normal life changed after Jake was rushed to The Royal Children’s Hospital in Belfast on 16 September 2020.

Young Jake had Stage 4 T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma.

This kid is a strong one, thats for sure!

Regular Chemo treatment in Belfast see's the child up and down regularly to the Children's hospital at the Royal.

Since that memorable and life-changing night for the Oliver family, Jake has endured numerous types of chemotherapy and a number of times along the way he became too ill to continue, resulting in ‘chemotherapy holds’, meaning that his medical plan had to be constantly adjusted and changed as his young body contended with both disease and treatment.

This Sponsored Walk from Belfast to Ballymena is to raise funds for the family and help with some of the financial burdens attached.

Near 31 Miles in total and will take around 12 hours to complete.

Please if you can, donate what you are able to.

Thank You.
