Weather Emergency, Flooded House

(I should preface this by mentioning that it’s my first time doing something like this and I don’t really know how to word things in this kind of situation.)

In Italy, in the region of Emilia-Romagna, there is currently a weather emergency. Many cities suffered severe flooding on Tuesday and Wednesday after hours of intense rainfall, with a few deaths and thousands of people getting evacuated from their houses.

While the situation for me is thankfully not critical, other parts of my city haven’t been as lucky.

I’m setting up this GoFundMe specifically for my uncle, who has found his house completely flooded, with water up to the kitchen counter. He was just now moving in, and had just bought new forniture that had been set up last week, but now all the furniture, the tv, his personal computer and everything else is no longer usable, and his house is still full of water.

If you have the means, I would like to ask you to please leave a donation, even a really small one, so that we can help him get back on his feet.

While some of us manage to get a bit of electricity (even if it keeps going out randomly from time to time), many houses still have no light at all.

Unfortunately it seems like it’s going to start raining again tomorrow and it will continue for a few days, and I’m worried of the turn things will take for all of us.
