On September 5th, the world graciously welcomed identical twins Jeremiah and Zachariah Thompson. Parents Robert and Melissa, and big sister and brother, Mariann and Josiah were overjoyed with this new addition to the family. TTX2 (Thompson Twins x 2), as we affectionately nicknamed them after their twin uncles, quickly became the center of attention in their hometown of Dillon, SC and to a host of family across the country.
On Tuesday, February 12th, our family would experience a tragedy unlike no other. 5-month old Jeremiah was critically injured at his daycare in Dillon and passed away on Saturday, February 16th.
Family and Friends, no parent should ever have to experience the pain that Robert and Melissa are feeling right now. We must join them in their fight! To say these are difficult times would be an understatement. They should be focusing every ounce of their energy on healing and seeking justice for Jeremiah, without worrying about missed income and overwhelming expenses.
It takes a village! As a community, whether local or afar, we have an opportunity to truly bless this family. Let us join together and shower them with our love, prayers and financial support. Any amount that you can contribute will assist them in their most ultimate time of need. Thank you dearly.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
