Doug Starks, Entertainer - Human Being, on October 7th will embark on a 550-mile bike ride from San Juan Capistrano, CA to Sacramento, CA.
The thought behind this journey is to encourage people to step outside their comfort zones and expand their consciousness connection to the ‘SOURCE ENERGY’ inside each of us. When coupled with our imagination and creative nature, this energy allows us to step beyond conditions and circumstances and ‘Be the change in our lives! Become the neighbor you want to live next to, be the friend you want to have. It’s actually a journey through the Goodness of humanity. It’s everywhere when we’re conscious of it. People have concerns that can be overwhelming in today’s climate. Connecting through consciousness can allay those concerns and fears! We are stronger together.

● CONVERSATIONS WITH LOCALS AND PEOPLE WHO ‘BIKE UP’ AND JOIN THE RIDE
Upon arriving in Sacramento, this effort concludes October 22nd with an afternoon in Tahoe Park for the annual ‘LABOR OF LOVE’ picnic, including a free concert featuring Doug Starks’ “Higherground”- Celebrating the music of Stevie Wonder.
Starks’ sister, Pamela Jennings, established this family/community tradition.

100% of the net proceeds will be donated to the charity ONE STEP MINISTRY (ONESTEPMINISTRY.ORG). One step supports homeless mothers with housing, jobs, childcare and any support needed to help them achieve independence.
