Home-Start HOST support families with young children across Oldham, Tameside, Stockport & Bolton. Our trained volunteers and staff offer peer befriending support, and support with many practical aspects of raising a family as well.

We are holding a sponsored “Toddlers Toddle” which will see the toddlers of Home-Start HOST Multiples group are making their way round the grounds of Ryecroft Hall to raise money for their fantastic group. No doubt with plenty of walking, running, skipping and jumping! Whilst being encouraged in the right direction by their parents, staff and the incredible volunteers! We want to use all funds raise to go towards keeping the group going as the support it provides is vital to those who attend.

The multiples group is a support group run by Home-Start HOST specifically for families of twins, triplets and more. The sessions are so valuable to those who take part and are a truly fantastic resource for the children to be able to play together. For parents, it is a great way to meet with other like-minded people over a hot drink in a space where they can be hones about the joys (and challenges!) of being parents to twins, triplets and more besides. It is a space to let off steam and talk about the realities of life with multiple children all with the fantastic support of the staff and volunteers who help run the group.
