Gruffalo has lived in Beacon Country Park in Skelmersdale for quite a few years, but sadly due to vandalism and the ravages of the elements, he has sadly had to be removed.

He has brought joy and happiness to lots and lots of people over the years, young children in particular and we would dearly love to see him replaced by his twin brother!!

The most significant cost involved in replacing him is the cost of a suitably sized solid Oak log, and we are asking for your help.

We have several tree carvers who offered their services, and with your help and the help of WLBC Ranger Service, we hope to be able to replace Gruffalo very soon.
