- Before there was a name or an organization there was this man serving the most vulnerable members of our community. A single parent who had overcome hardship himself he refused to turn away from the needs of his community. Instead he began to to work and to share his vision. Soon a handful of helpers turned into a groundswell of others coming alongside to build a grassroots movement that became The Streets of Paradise. From one man an organization of thousands of volunteers and supporters grew. As a beloved community leader Greg has received many honors and accolades but he is first and foremost a man of the people. Facing the recent decision by the board of directors to remove him from his position as Executive Director without notice or cause we are now stepping up to support Greg. The board of directors may, as they say “move in a different direction “ but Greg will never waver in his loyalty and service to our community. And we will continue to show him our support. respect and gratitude as he navigates this difficult time.
