We stand #MARLASTRONG

On Sunday, May 4, 2025, our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy. A devastating house fire destroyed Marla's home, taking with it all of her belongings — a lifetime of memories, essentials, and security. Even more heartbreaking, we lost her beloved grandson, Tristan, in the fire.

There are no words to fully capture the pain and shock our family is enduring. Marla is now left with nothing, trying to rebuild her life from the ground up while grieving the loss of her grandchild. Her homeowners insurance was unexpectedly cancelled so there is no financial safety net to fall back on.

We are reaching out to ask for your help. Funds raised will go directly toward helping Marla with:

Funeral and memorial expenses for her grandson, Tristan

Basic necessities (clothing, food, toiletries)

Temporary housing and longer-term relocation

Replacing lost household and personal items

Emotional support and recovery
