SHE SOLD HER HOME TO BUY SOME TIME

Donation protected
My mum has just turned 74

She’s vibrant, stubborn, glamorous — and absolutely not ready to die.

Ten years ago she beat breast cancer and proudly nicknamed herself the “Tedious Titty Babe’ as she’s not going anywhere and would fight this hideous disease at all costs. We thought that chapter was closed.

But it’s back.

It has spread to her lungs, ribs and spine. It’s aggressive. It’s growing fast. And in the UK we were told it was terminal — that there was nothing more they could do and she had at most 6 weeks to live..

We refused to accept that.

After much research we found pioneering treatment in India. To pay for it, we sold our family home and my parents now live in a caravan in our garden so that every spare penny can go toward keeping her alive.

At first, it worked. We saw hope.

She even made it home for Christmas to be with her grandchildren and make precious memories — the kind you don’t realise might be your last.

Then she became too unwell to travel back to continue treatment and In those few weeks, the cancer spread rapidly.

We rushed her back to India as soon as she was strong enough to fly. Her medical team believes that if we can continue treatment long enough to stabilise her condition, she will qualify for a developing anti-cancer vaccine programme which will give us more years together to make precious memories.

But we are running out of money and time.

Treatment is paid weekly. We need around £90,000 to continue. We have nothing left to give. Everything we had has gone into this fight.

If we have to stop treatment, we have been told she will only have weeks left and may even die out in India which will mean we need to pay to repatriate her body back to the UK.

I am deeply embarrassed to ask like this. We are not people who ask for help. But this is my mum. I will swallow every ounce of pride if it means giving her more time.

She doesn’t want to die.
She wants to see her grandchildren grow up and I just want more time with my mum.

If you can donate anything — truly anything — it could help keep her alive.

Every single pound will go directly toward her ongoing treatment in India and getting her to the point where she can receive the anti-cancer vaccine.

If you’re unable to donate personally, please consider sharing this page it might just reach that one person who can save her life ❤️

And if anyone reading this works for, or knows of, a company that may have charitable budgets to allocate before year-end, or that would consider making a corporate donation, we would be incredibly grateful to be considered. This treatment is our only chance, and support from a business could quite literally buy her more time

thank you for giving her a fighting chance ❤️
