We Push For Peace (Xavier’s Transition Housing)
We Push for Peace is a nonprofit organization founded by Trahern Pollard to be a resource & advocate to those in need.
Our mission statement, Making a difference in the lives of our youth and community.
My experience & outreach work encompass 20+ years, of mentoring & guiding youth away from gangs, drugs, navigating the juvenile justice system & assisting youth with homelessness.
Myself as well as my team is a constant presence in our communities; mentoring; building trust; and providing the services of the Xavier’s Employment and Training Center for at Risk Youth.
Our unique ability to work with struggling youth on a daily basis has given us insight into what we can do to further help.
That is why we are launching a fundraising campaign to raise $150,000 for the Xavier’s Transition House.
This Transition House will provide us the opportunity to enhance our current services into a setting directed at those youth leaving foster care, youth shelters, or prison. Guiding the youth to become functioning members of society all while being able to offer basic life necessities until they can support themselves.
