In less than 12 months, over 1,000 people have walked through our doors in Cincinnati.

They didn't just come for a hike. They came because, for the first time, the outdoors felt like it belonged to them. We Outside was built on a simple, radical belief: You shouldn't have to fit a mold to find your place in nature.

We’ve built a home for the creative, the curious, and the people who haven’t always seen themselves represented in outdoor spaces. We’ve turned a storefront into a sanctuary where community happens naturally and showing up is enough.

The importance of the hub:

Our storefront is more than just a shop. It is the anchor for everything we do. It is a safe home base where workshops are held and creative gatherings take root. It is the physical proof of belonging in this city and in the outdoors. Without this hub, we lose our ability to provide a consistent, accessible starting point for the community.

The May Deadline

Our lease is up at the end of May. We have a massive decision to make, and we can’t make it alone.

The concept is proven: this space is used, it is returned to, and it is needed. Your support ensures that the outdoors remains accessible to everyone: regardless of their bank account. When we keep our overhead costs covered through community support, we are able to keep our event fees low or non-existent.

The Roadmap: Why $10,000?

We believe in radical transparency. To keep We Outside running for a full year, our core costs (rent, utilities, insurance, and basics) total $18,000.

While our ultimate mission is to fully fund the year, we are setting an initial Phase One goal of $10,000 to secure our immediate future. Here is how your support moves the needle:

Phase 1 | $10,000 (The Leg Up): This secures our immediate lease renewal and covers the essential costs to keep our doors open past May. It buys us the time we need to keep the momentum going.

Phase 2 | $18,000 (The Survival Line): This is our Keep the Lights On goal. This covers rent, utilities, and insurance for a full year, ensuring our home base stays active and safe.

Phase 3 | $20,000+ (The Community Buildout): This is where we invest back into you. Reaching this allows us to perform a physical buildout of the storefront: adding better infrastructure to make this a world-class hub for Cincinnati.
