Hi, I’m Hayley, a local mum from Dennistoun.

The RAPA has been part of this community for generations, and now I get to watch my own child enjoy it too. Seeing how much joy it brings to so many children is exactly why I felt it was important to step in and try to help.

Yesterday, the zip line at Reidvale Adventure Play Association (RAPA) sadly snapped.

To some people it might just look like a bit of play equipment but for families here in Dennistoun, it’s so much more than that.

RAPA is a safe, welcoming place where hundreds of kids come every week to play, make pals, and just enjoy being children. So many of us grew up going there ourselves, and now we’re bringing our own kids through the same gates.

The reality is, like a lot of community spaces, there just isn’t spare money sitting to fix things like this.

So I’m hoping we can come together as a community and help get it sorted.

Even £1 makes a difference. If enough of us chip in what we can, it all adds up and we can get the zip line fixed in time for summer.

Let’s get the kids of Dennistoun back doing what they love laughing, playing, and flying down that zip line again.
