I'm the mother of my beautiful five-year-old daughter, Bisan, and my three-year-old daughter, Naya.

I'm pregnant with my third child, whose due date is approaching.

My life has become a daily struggle for survival.

My Condition

• My Health: I suffer from severe calcium deficiency.

I feel exhausted and in constant pain, and I still have to walk long distances to fetch water for me and my family from far away. I'm unable to buy the necessary vitamins, and I'm unable to provide milk, diapers, and clothes for my unborn child.

I need clean water, but I can't afford it. Canned food only makes my condition worse.

I cry silently because I can't buy clothes for me and my children because our clothes are worn out from so much hand washing.

● My daughters, Bisan and Naya, have already lost half their weight due to malnutrition. They cry from hunger because I can't provide them with healthy food.

● I feel helpless in front of my unborn child because I can't provide them with clothes and diapers. I don't want them to need plastic diapers and suffer from skin diseases.

● We don't have a proper mattress or enough blankets for the coming winter.

Every day is a battle for survival. I'm exhausted, yet I continue to work for my children. I walk long distances to fetch water, struggling to do even the simplest tasks.
