Thanks for taking the time to read this, as we need Temporary help to stay open since we were struck by someone who frauded our account and took everything we had.

 

The bank, Amazon and investigators, confirmed that we would get our money back, but it could take upwards of a month before that happens; during that time, we have our regular monthly bills that need to be paid.

 

JK Custom Guitars MTL is a Montreal based guitar manufacturer that builds custom guitars for all types of musicians, but our main focus is operating a sustainable company that not only strives to run an environmental friendly company but also does its best to support indigenous peoples, people of colour and members of the LGTBQ community as well. We build sustainable products from reclaimed woods and plant one tree for every guitar made at the shop but also support local artists by buying their merch and CDs and attending their shows.

 

Recently, our account was targeted by someone who robbed us by making several purchases through online sales and billing us for those payments. The total is still being figured out, but the thief managed to clean out the account, leaving $0.18 for us to start June.

 

We are asking for YOU, the awesome person reading this, to help by donating what you can, as we still need to pay our JUNE RENT, INTERNET, INSURANCE, PHONES and other BILLS that honestly can't be put off as we have only gotten by during the pandemic.

 

Please don't think of this as us asking for help, but rather an investment on a team of great people who as a group, have been dedicated to building up this guitar company that was started 10 years ago.

 

If you feel that you can help, then please, consider giving as we know this is temporary since the bank and online merchants have agreed that we will get the money back. If you can't give, which we understand, please share and ask those you know to help.

 

We have been stretched pretty thin and need assistance to get through this unexpected event.
