"If you build it, they will come." -Field of Dreams
I live in a small town on the west coast and have been working and volunteering for film festivals and organizations for over 20 years. I love film. And I love sharing the experience of watching a great movie with friends and loved ones. It's always been a dream to offer a small, independent film theater to run second run films for the community day and night.
Besides being enthusiastic, I am also realistic about opening a theater during COVID 19. So, I recently launched Beach Break Entertainment – an opportunity for my little coast side community to safely get out of the house for a family night/date night/evening out Drive - In cinema experience.
Everyone I talk to is excited about this opportunity, and it turns outs that I now need to ask for help to make it a reality. Unfortunately at this time, our small town just doesn't have the resources to support this endeavor.
Why am I the person to make this happen?

Where will your donation go? With the funds I raise on this Go Fund Me, I will be able to rent the equipment, venue and distribution fees, pay for some of the insurance and pre purchase concessions to sell.
The long term plan is for this to become a regular event for the rest of the summer and into the fall... and for it to be self-sustaining. As I said, the community is enthusiastic, and now it’s time to raise money for the up-front costs.
I once read "Whatever you can do or dream, you can do."
