The Province announced on October 25th that it will not proceed with any amalgamation or reduction in Council sizes.
Your donation helped us to spread the word that we needed to send a strong message to the Province that Oakville is a model for how municipalities should be run. Our campaign generated over 4,400 submissions made to the Province in opposition to the amalgamation of Oakville with Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills or to changes in our municipal representation.
