We Love LA: Community Care Packages

We are a group of concerned neighbors and friends in Los Angeles, called We Love LA.

Many in our community have lost everything in the recent fires, and we’re working to assemble care packages with essentials for families in need from Palisades and Altadena areas who have been directly impacted by the fires.

We have created a form that was sent out to our community so that we are able to directly contact all of the individuals who have reached out and who we were able to support.

We’re aiming to raise funds to cover shipping costs, purchase gift cards + essential items, and support distribution efforts. Every dollar helps us provide relief to families and friends navigating this challenging time. Any remaining funds will be donated to a trusted fire relief organization. The We love LA team is managing the funds and the distribution of the aid. The founding team is responsible for overseeing the funds and managing the distribution.

Andi Georgiana, the originator of the gofundme, is managing the withdrawal and management of the funds. The funds are being withdrawn into an account that we are then using to purchase supplies as well being sent to organizations and families that need it. Some of these organizations include:

Walk w. Sally (Cancer x Fire Relief)

These will be in the form of good and services, as well as transfer of funds, and will all be distributed by the end of February.
