I know our generosity can be tested daily. Donate to this. Give to that. Sometimes it's for a big non-profit, and sometimes it's to help fund a trip. And sometimes it's for something even more important - a good friend suffering from perhaps the worst of all conditions...cancer.

A friend and his family are going through a battle with cancer. My friend John Black has been dealing with health issues for a while. On top of what he was going through, he was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. While his health issues have been a financial hardship for the family, going through cancer treatment will make the day-to-day expenses even more difficult to keep up with.

After seeing the huge support of friends and family when my mom fought her long battle with cancer, I realize how important having a support network for John will be. With your help, I want to create a financial safety net for John and his family.
