We get by with a lil help from our friends - Support Jasmine

We were lucky enough to meet Jasmine back in 2019 when we enrolled our dog Riley at Pack Method Prep and later at Dog Days, the training/daycare facilities were Jasmine worked. Riley frequented both and LOVED every second of it - which I was particularly grateful for when my son Spencer was born in July of 2021. It meant so much to me knowing Riley was still getting all the same love & attention she craves, while I sorted out what life looked as a first-time mom with a new baby. Not long after Spencer was born, Riley was kicked out of daycare for some dog-reactivity issues and I was devastated.
From then on, everyday was a struggle… The dog-mom guilt grew heavier and heavier each day as I watched the noticeable impact the change had on Riley (and myself in the process). That’s when Jasmine reached out to check in on Riley and see how she was adjusting - And I’m forever grateful that she did. Jasmine began making regular house calls to pick up Riley and take her out for some dedicated, 1 on 1 attention. They quickly became best friends and Riley’s demeanor was restored back to her playful, happy, energetic self. Needless to say, Jasmine has been a consistent supporter through everything we’ve been through with Riley the past few years and I can’t express enough how appreciative I am for the things she has done, and continues to do, for our family (not just Riley!).
So when her car troubles began, I obviously wanted to help any way I could. The long and the short of it is that Hyundai could care less about those they sold their faulty engines to that somehow fall just outside of the parameters set to hold them accountable after past class action lawsuits. Instead of taking Hyundai’s self-serving recommendation to throw thousands of MORE dollars (that she doesn’t have) into a vehicle that ultimately needs a full engine replacement, Jasmine has decided to take the advice of trusted independent shops & friends and work towards a down payment for a replacement vehicle. Hyundai is notorious for preying on others in Jasmine’s situation - incredibly hard working, independent, good-hearted people who are reliant on their vehicles in order to make their living and don’t have thousands of dollars lying around to waste on the predatory advice of the Hyundai employees taking advantage of them.
Our family aside, Jasmine has undoubtedly made an impact on countless other packs (both dog & human), making a genuine difference in their lives through kindness, passion for her work and her gift of connecting with animals. For all of these reasons and more, it’s our time to take a stand against the injustice Jasmine has been unfairly served and come together to make a difference in HER life now.
Every dollar helps and $20 is one less hour she'll have to work, bringing her one hour closer to a down payment and a new vehicle. Help me remind Jasmine there is still a lot of good people in the world :)
