My name is Joana I am a single mum of three amazing young ladies, 15, 13 and 10 of age. For nearly 20 years, our home in Alcabideche has been our safe haven filled with love, but now we are at risk of losing it.

Four years ago, I went trough a difficult divorce. Since then, I have been the sole provider for my girls, covering everything - our home mortgage, bills, school expenses and daily needs. Their father provides zero financial support and the weight of unpaid bank loans has fallen entirely on me.

Despite working hard at a local NGO, the financial pressure has been overwelming. Now the bank is forcing the sale of our home, because of unpaid loans, and I have to raise 70.000€ or risk losing everything. I have tried every possible way to resolve this, but without help, my daughters and I will have nowhere to go.

This is not just a house is our home. It's where my daughters feel safe and where we have built a life together. Losing it would mean uprooting them from their school, their friends, and the only stability they have ever known.
