Kutrala Kuravanji — A Dance for Inclusion
We, the students of Sthalam School of Dance, Pleasanton, are practicing with great dedication to bring to life the timeless Tamil dance drama “Kutrala Kuravanji.”
This classical masterpiece, rooted in Bharatanatyam tradition, celebrates love, devotion, and divine connection through the story of a Kurathi (fortune teller) who foretells the heroine’s union with Lord Kutralanathar. It beautifully portrays the unity of nature, humanity, and the divine — a message that resonates deeply with the values of inclusion and acceptance that we hold dear.
This year, we proudly dedicate our performance to support the Brain Foundation, an organization committed to autism research and fostering inclusion for neurodiverse individuals.
Your generous support will help us reach our fundraising goal.
