HELP STEVE BEAT COLON CANCER

Hello, My name is Pat Lucas and my husband Carlos & I have 3 sons. In August of 2022 our youngest son Steven Lucas, who is 52, was diagnosed with Colon Cancer during a routine colonoscopy. To confirm the findings he also had an additional colonoscopy. His surgery was performed in September and a large tumor was removed along with some lymph nodes. Steven has been unable to work since then per his oncologists orders. After recovering from surgery, chemotherapy treatments were ordered and began in November and will continue thru April. His Dr. stated he will not be able to return to work for 6 weeks after his final treatment in April. Steve & his wife Virginia have 2 teenage sons living at home & although Virginia is working & has worked as much overtime as her company allows, medical payments & surgery, hospital costs including ongoing bi-monthly chemotherapy & oncologist visits & required lab work & also monthly payments on their home, car, utilities & unexpected costs, like their refrigerator having to be repaired at a cost of $700.00, their payments have become exceptionally difficult to make. Cancer takes a toll emotionally & financially.
