Nine days before my baby Willows birthday a tragedy struck our family. My beautiful perfectly healthy baby girl drowned. After forty-five minutes first responders were able to get her heart beating again. One week after this happened i found out i was pregnant with willows baby brother and also lost my home. I have been living in the Ronald Mcdonald Houses on my own ever since, and the father of my children was unable to cope with the situation and left only a few weeks after this happened.
After 7 months Willow is getting ready to leave the hospital with severe cerebral palsy, and a traumatic brain injury affecting over half of her brain. I am about to give birth and have no funds or no real way acquiring them for quite some time. I feel like Willow's best chance of any kind of recovery will be to receive stem cells from her brothers ambilocal cord and as some may know to harvest those cells and to store them is expensive and not covered by insurance. With my due date being October 28th, I am running out of time to get the funds together, for not only the cord blood but also the costs for a place for me and my two children to call home, also a handicapped vehicle for willows transportation. Any donation are greatly appreciated and will be helpful with this traumatic transition. Thank You Danielle
