My Dad, Jim Hobbs, was an underground miner who died of Parkinson's. I think that his Parkinson's was related to a neurotoxin called McIntyre Powder (aluminum dust) that he had to breathe as a condition of employment in the mines. More than 42,000 mine and factory workers worldwide had to inhale McIntyre Powder between 1943 and 1980. It was basically a gas chamber. I am trying to document their health issues and find answers about what the aluminum dust did to their bodies, their brains, their lives. The workers' compensation system (WSIB) in Ontario, Canada has documents that can answer some of those questions. The cost of accessing those documents is $7967.95. Any money raised in excess of this request will be used by me to fund my McIntyre Powder Project work. If you have 12 minutes of your life to spare, please watch my video. It was hard to film. It was hard to ask for help -

But I am fighting Goliaths, and I need allies. Thank you.
