Hello,

My name is Nick Randles and I am on the Board of Managers for the local Wayman D. Palmer YMCA in Toledo, OH. We are raising funds for swimsuits for the community children, and if we raise enough funds, we will include sponsorships for swim lessons for children in the neighborhood.

The Wayman Palmer YMCA has been a cornerstone in the Warren-Sherman neighborhood since its establishment in 1978, and now has a brand new state-of-the-art facility.

The new Wayman Palmer YMCA will offer a range of reimagined spaces catering to the diverse needs of the community. Among the new features are: a state-of-the-art indoor pool, an 8,000-square-foot gym, an expanded fitness center, an outdoor splash pad, and a wellness center. In addition, the new facility will host afterschool programming, youth and adult sports, ‘grab & go’ meals, and will also have a community hub with a full-time hub director experienced in working with at-risk youth and families.
