My amazing cousin, Callie Lister, is an ICU nurse in Waxahachie, Texas. As you know the past months have been rough, heavy, and devastating especially for the brave heroes facing this crisis and its path of destruction first hand. With the current spike in cases, many nurses and doctors are once again stretched thin, faced with overwhelming loss, and mentally and physically fatigued.
With your help, I'd like to bring a small moment of happiness and positivity to brighten their long hard days. I have partnered with Ruthie's Food Truck in Dallas, Texas who has pledged to match the number of meals we order. We are currently looking to sponsor a minimum of 50 meals (that's really 100 meals) @ $15/each, but hey the more the merrier!
We are also assembling small care packages for 30 nurses that include self care items like hand lotion, face masks, epsom salts as well as coffee and cozy fuzzy socks.
