As the men of Sigma Nu Theta Rho, hearing of the passing of brother Nick Van Atta was devastating. An unexpected death of someone far too young to be taken away from his family and friends is never easy. Nick was a leader, mentor, and one of the best brothers to ever be a part of our chapter. As a member of sigma nu and our first Chaplain, he was perhaps the one who most exemplified our values of Love, Honor, and Truth. In many ways, he was the keystone that solidified our brotherhood in the early days of the chapter’s formation and ensured it had the potential to impact young men long after his time. He will forever be remembered for his selflessness, huge smile, and infectious laughter. In this time, we ask for help to raise money for his family to offset funeral expenses.
