On 10/10/26, our family experienced a life-altering tragedy. A sudden fire broke out at my father’s home in Wausau. While we are incredibly grateful that everyone escaped safely, the mobile home and everything inside were completely destroyed.

They lost virtually all of their belongings in a matter of minutes, from essential everyday items like clothing, shoes, and medications to fundamental necessities like furniture, beds, and cherished family keepsakes. This horrible situation not only affects my father who is disabled but my niece and nephew who he has custody of and takes care of. we were also able to save the pets! two dogs and a cat. They are currently starting completely from scratch. well again we are extremely thankful for everyone making out alive and safe this is a very hard and difficult situation to start over with due to the situation with my father, my niece and nephew, and having pets involved. We are trying to get back to a stable position so that my niece and nephew can have one a place to call home but two to continue to focus on school and other school activities like sports and instruments. We are reaching out to ask for help. Financially, anything you can give would help in a big way, but any household items or belongings you no longer need or use would also go a very long way.
