Hello - My name is Kendra Raddatz, I am 15 and am a sophomore at Wausau East. I am working on my Girl Scout Gold Award Project.

My project is called the "Wausau East Formal Showcase". This is a collection of formal wear for boys & girls. This closet will be open to all students to borrow from as needed, however, my main focus is on students who could not otherwise afford the attire and associated expenses to attend school dances. The community response has been amazing, and I have a lot of formal attire (long/short dresses, suits, dress shirts, pants, shoes, ties, jewelry, and make-up for students to choose from. My kickoff event will be next Wednesday, March 15th, so students can choose outfits for Prom, which is held in April.

However, I would like to expand my project's focus by having a fund available to those students who are truly "in need", to provide them with clothing alterations, admission tickets, as well as flowers for the event. Everything needed to make it a special evening full of wonderful memories for students.

All donations will be given to Wausau East, to be put in a separate fund - which will be allocated by the counseling staff for expenses related to those students who express financial need.
