We have all heard and seen the destruction that came with this past Thursday's storm system. And it seems that the homes in Waukazoo Woods were the primary target of that storm.

Watching the news and following it all on social media, you’ve definitely seen this house, as it’s become the primary point for people driving through to see the damage, to stop, drop their jaws, and take pictures.

But this house isn’t just a house, it’s the home of Barb and Joe. Barb and Joe Malis are two of the most genuine, giving, empathetic, and loving people that we have been blessed to know for many years living on Post Ave. together.

The road to rebuilding is going to be long and difficult, as linemen and tree services are still working diligently around the clock to make our street safe again. If able, please consider helping the Malis’ on their journey to re-establishing their home here in the woods.
