Watts Imperial Garden

Working together with Blkksaturday we helped clean the Watts empowerment center. We came across a group of kids and asked if they could join us and instead of them joining us we joined them in their efforts to clean their neighborhood garden.

The garden was created as a safe space for the people in the community. Together they planted over 100 plants that consisted of fruits and veggies. The garden was created for the people in the community as a way to provide essential fruits and vegetables to those that needed it.

In our efforts to help clean the garden we also want to help improve the garden by raising money to help buy more equipment so the community can have the tools they need to maintain the garden for as long as they can.

Below you can find a list of items we will be purchasing with the money raised for the garden. If you happen to have these items available to donate please reach out to me or anyone on our team. If you cannot donate money we ask that you donate your time the first Saturday of every month you can find more info at instagram.com/blkksaturday
