Watford Cycle Hub - help kit-out the new building
Donation protected
Watford Cycle Hub is a community-based not-for-profilt organisation based in Watford Hertfordshire serving the local community in all things cycling. From its inception in 2012, the Cycle Hub has operated out of an old cricket pavillion which, in 2019, is in a poor state of repair.
Fortunately, Watford Borough Council recognise the value of the Cycle Hub in the local community and will replace the Cycle Hub building over the winter of 2019, which is great news for the people of Watford and the team staff and volunteers at the Cycle Hub. It also demonstrates their commitment to making Watford a leading cycling town over the coming years.
Whilst we're really appreciative of the support of the council, we're short of the funds required to kit it out with the basic fixtures and fittings needed to operate the new, larger, Cycle Hub and cafe. We need to renew the existing bicycle shelter, purchase tables and chairs for the cafe, fit window blinds and buy some more tools, amongst other things.
Your support will enable us to continue to offer cycle training, free led rides, cycle servicing and low-cost reconditioned cycles for sale is greatly appreciated. We need to raise £25,000 between now and the end of February 2020, so anything you are able to give will be greatly appreciated.
