My name is Heather, and I had a dream to partner with a friend and start a sewing school in Rwanda. We secured the land, the house is well on its way, the sewing school launched this winter and now we are looking to raise $5,000 to have water tanks installed on the property. House of Hope, is a sewing school in Rwanda that is equipping women with the skills and confidence to break the cycle of poverty, while restoring dignity and building sustainable futures.
Right now, these women can spend hours walking to fetch water, sometimes up to five hours round trip, depending on the line and the amount of water they need. It’s time consuming, exhausting, and takes away from valuable moments that could be spent learning, creating, or simply resting.
We want to change that.
By installing two water tanks, a 10,000-liter and a 5,000-liter tank, that will be installed on-site at House of Hope, we can bring clean, accessible water directly to where it’s needed. Whether it’s for drinking, cooking, washing, or daily chores, water will finally be within reach.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to that goal.
Thank you for being a part of this meaningful mission and partnering with us in breaking cycles of poverty!!
