Water wells for charity

Salamualaykum

My name is Rameez Zafar. In the efforts of being sadaqah jahriya for my mother who passed away a few years ago from cancer, I am hoping to build water wells under her name InshaAllah. I am also hoping to build these wells under a relative for a close friend of mine. Many of you already know my mother’s story because you have all generously helped in her name before, but I want you to know who the other beautiful person we’re doing this for is.

On April 5th, 2024, during the most blessed ten days of the entire year, Our beloved brother Imran Sulehria passed away after combatting illness. From being a father who raised pious children to being a caring brother who provided a shelter to call home for his siblings and family when they needed help the most, brother Imran never ceased to model the love, kindness, and charity that Muslims are always displaying. As one united Ummah of the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him), please do not hesitate to show the same charity and generosity that Brother Imran gave others by donating to support a project that aims to provide clean drinking water for those in need in Brother Imran’s name. Jazakhallah Kahir for all your donations and duas!

It is important to note that the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) stated: “When a human being dies, all one’s deeds cease, save three: a Sadaqah Jairyah, knowledge one leaves behind from which others benefit, and a righteous child who prays for one.” Alhamdulillah, not only will the donations but also your duas will continue to pour in righteous deeds in the name of Brother Imran during this project!

Anas Ibn Malik reported that The Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessings be upon him) said Allah says: “If I take the two noble eyes of My servant in this world, there is no reward for him with Me but Paradise.”

For the last eight years, Brother Imran has lived a life without the ability to see. Living a life without seeing your beloved family grow may build frustrations. However, Brother Imran instead turned to Allah and found his own light in the darkness. Trusting Allah during a time he was being tested, Brother Imran knew to stay on his deen to obtain success in the afterlife. Getting up consistently with the effort to locate the washroom and make wudu while knowing exactly where make sujood was his way of trusting Allah’s plan during this time when his life had completely changed. After the many battles of being admitted to the hospital for treatments, Brother Imran’s chapter ended with Allah taking him during the most blessed time of the entire a year. Inshallah, with your duas and donations, Brother Imrans good deeds may continue to build on what has already been decades of religious commitment.
