Hi everyone, I’m raising money to help bring clean, running water to rural communities in Costa Rica through Agua Viva Serves.
If you know me, you know how much Costa Rica means to me...its people, its culture, and its natural beauty. While the country is thriving in many ways, there are still rural communities without reliable access to something we often take for granted every day: clean, running water.
Without it, families face increased risk of disease and daily challenges that most of us never have to think about.
That’s why I’m partnering with Agua Viva Serves to support clean water projects in Los Chiles, Costa Rica, helping to create healthier living conditions and empowering communities with sustainable water systems they can maintain long-term.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to support Agua Viva Serves in building, maintaining, and sustaining community water systems in Los Chiles, Costa Rica. Each system costs approximately $50,000 and provides clean water to about 600 people, including families, children, and the elderly.
If you’ve ever experienced Costa Rica, enjoying its gorgeous beaches, stunning wildlife, fresh fruits, or meeting it's earnest people - I ask you to consider giving back to a country that gives so much to it's visitors.
And if you’re unsure, I understand. I encourage you take a moment to think about how often water shapes your day without you even realizing it— brushing your teeth, making your morning coffee, washing your hands, sanitizing your baby's bottle, filling your dog's water bowl. Now imagine your life without consistent access to it.
For many families in rural Costa Rica, that is reality.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps bring clean water to families who need it most.
This effort will also include a volunteer trip in Spring 2027, where we’ll work alongside the community in Los Chiles and share updates so you can see the impact of your support.
