Water Borehole For Masibinta School in Binga

Citizens Initiative recently got a grant from IOM to build a classroom block at Masibinta Secondary School in Binga. We intend to build the classroom block in 2 months, however one challenge we are facing is the availability of water for construction. We think this presents an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.

Instead of hiring water bousers, we believe we could drill a water 40m borehole at the school. This fundraiser is for the drilling, casing and installation of a water pump.

Who is Citizens Inititative?

Citizens Initiative was founded by a group of volunteers to provide a mechanism for citizens to come together to provide relief to the poor, the distressed and/or the underprivileged in Zimbabwe or other African countries. Our hope is that together, with citizen support, we can organize and support disadvantaged communities to be better resilient through timely support and relief.
