In the Name of (God) the All Beneficent, The All Merciful            بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم.

Dear Brothers, Sisters, Friends, and Community Leaders, Most of you all know me very well, and for our dear friends who do not, My name is Ali Sayedsarwar. I am an Afghan American immigrant from Afghanistan since 2002. Before I came to the United States, I lived at a refugee camp in Quetta Pakistan, and prior to that I was in Afghanistan in 1998 where the country was devastated by decades of war and turmoil.

I remember my days in Afghanistan as an 8 year old kid like it was yesterday. I remember being enrolled in Shaheed Mazari Elementary School in the early year of 1998 as a 3rd grader. In August of 1998, our province fell to the hands of the Taliban. being a minority in Afghanistan our school was partly destroyed by the militant group and our books burned. In the last two decades before the collapse of Afghan government, the Shaheed Mazari Elementary School has been reconstructed and houses nearly four thousand children boys and girls.

Growing up in the United States, I never forgot my past childhood life in Afghanistan, trying to survive absolute poverty and systematic persecution. Experiencing war, and the devastating consequences it can have on civilian lives, I have always had a strong Binding feeling towards helping those who are going through the same experience.

In the harsh winter of 2022, I launched a "Winter Coal Drive" for minority families affected by war and orphaned families of Afghanistan. With the kind and generous donations from my family friends and community I was able to successfully raise $5000.00 in less than a week, which we were able to purchase 50 tons of coal and covered over 120 families.

It was recently brought to my attention that the "Shaheed Mazari Elementary school has run out of water. the Water Well is no longer deep enough to supply water. To solve this issue, the Water Well must be cleaned up and re-drilled to a higher depth. The overall cost for this operation comes at $1500.00 with materials and labor. However I am compelled to do more!

I am launching another $6000.00 fundraiser to not only re-drill the Water Well, but also to install fixed fans in every class room and purchase a complete set of school supplies for all the students in that school. Therefore, I am humbly requesting the help and support of my community and family friends in this goal we can all share together.   Every dollar counts and please be sure to forward the link to your close contacts and other organizations.  Thank you all sincerely for your selfless act of kindness and generous donations. Peace and Blessings be with you all.
