Discussions about boycotting the 2022 World Cup in Qatar have been circulating for some time. I too am convinced that the venue for this World Cup is highly problematic and should be criticised. Equally, for legends like Manuel Neuer, Thomas Müller, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Luka Modrič and Neymar, this World Cup is very likely to be their farewell to the international football stage.

I will have a mobile stand at public viewing events to interact with the viewers and to collect donations for the families of migrant workers affected by the World Cup conditions. This go fund me is for people who want to donate without attending the matches.

But I am also trying to make it possible to watch with friends and celebrate, while the money collected will be donated to an organisation such as Amnesty International to give financial aid to those negatively affected.
