Washington County Foster Closet Fundraiser
Donation protected

The Washington County Foster Closet needs your generous support in order to continue making an impact in the lives of foster children in our community!
Since 2017, the Washington County Foster Closet has served foster families and foster children by providing gently used and new clothing, car seats and booster seats, gift cards, and other items. The foster closet is run by four volunteer foster moms - Koa Dautermann, Shannon Siebert, Sarah Kleist, and Kate Lafferty - who all know firsthand how critical community support is to foster parents across Washington County.
In October 2019, we expanded the Washington County Foster Closet to include clothing for teens. We are currently renting two storage lockers in Richfield to store our donated items. However, our storage lockers are full and as a result, we are unable to accept any other donated items until we have more room.
In response to our rapid growth and in order to better serve the needs of our organization and community, we are pursuing becoming a nonprofit organization AND renting building space in Hartford, Wisconsin which will give us more space, heat, and electricity.
In order to pursue our goals of becoming a nonprofit organization and moving our organization into a building, we need YOUR help! Our goal of $12,000 will help us pay for fees required to become a legal nonprofit organization in Wisconsin and approximately two years worth of building rent.
Please consider a donation of $10, $20, or even $50 to enable us to continue serving the needs of foster children in Washington County. Your continued generosity is so appreciated!
