My name is Hashim, and this is my wife Laila.

For nearly three years of war, we have been living in what feels like an open prison in Gaza.

We lost our home.

We lost our jobs.

And now… we fear losing our only dream: becoming parents.

In Gaza, every specialized fertility and IVF center has been destroyed the very places where hope for families once began no longer exist.

After nearly six years of marriage, our dream of having a child has never changed… but every path to reach it has been taken away from us.

We have been displaced again and again:

From Gaza to Khan Younis, then to Rafah, then to Deir al-Balah.

We returned to northern Gaza, only to be displaced once more to Deir al-Balah.

When we finally went back… we found our home completely destroyed.

With nowhere else to go, we moved to western Gaza in search of any place to survive.

Today, even food and clean water are not guaranteed.

Still, our dream remains simple:

To live in safety, to receive medical treatment, and to finally have a chance to start a family.
