My name is Loren and I’m raising money for one of our own Kia briggs. The money raised will cover any funds for a UK Holliday for Kia, her mam whose been her rock and both the kids. I wish I could wave a magic wand and make everything okay but I can’t. But we can give hope and something to look forward too. All Kia wants it’s to be able to spend quality time with both children and not in a hosipital.

below is a statement from Vivianas mother Kia which is only a LITTLE of what they’ve been threw.

Viviana was diagnosed with a heart defect at 20 week scan, she has DORV with transposition of the great arteries, pulmonary stenosis, large VSD, and large ASD. It was planned for viviana to have her heart correction at 2 weeks old but she managed to last until 14 months. It was planned for a 10-15 days stay in hospital after the correction but didn’t go to plan. Viviana had her first surgery on 30/05/23 which resulted in her getting heart block in the surgery and needing a temporary pacemaker with the hope her heart would recover. On 08/06/23 viviana had to go back to surgery for a permanent pace maker fitted for life and her heart is relying on it. Since the first surgery viviana has not been right and keeps having blips up and down. She’s been back to theatre a further two times for drains inserted due to fluid around her lungs making her lungs deflate. The doctors and consultants are running tests after tests to try get to the bottom of what’s going on but at this moment in time they can’t work it out. She keeps going very motley, freezing cold, going grey/blue and needing a lot of support. Viviana is currently back in PICU on ventilator.
