We are raising funds to help our cousin, Moretta, a single mother, create a safe and warm home for her family.

Moretta has a young son and a daughter who has just begun college. Recently, she made the difficult decision to give up her apartment on the reservation (Navajo Nation) because the rent was simply too expensive for her to afford. Her mother has generously offered her an unfinished house next door, giving Moretta and her children the opportunity to have a home of their own, but the house still needs significant work before they can move in.

Our initial goal is to raise $5,000 to purchase supplies needed to make the house livable, as well as firewood to help keep the family warm through the winter. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help Moretta provide stability and security for her children during a challenging time.
