My name is Annette Gusto, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. I live with my three grandchildren, and together we’re doing our best to get through a very difficult time. The home we’re in isn’t ideal, but it’s the only place I’ve been able to find for us. After suffering a stroke, I’ve been unable to work, and it has made keeping up with bills incredibly hard.

Recently, our gas was shut off, and despite everything, they won’t allow a payment plan. The house has become bitterly cold, and one of my grandchildren has a heart condition that makes the low temperatures especially dangerous for her. As a grandmother, watching them shiver and not being able to fix it breaks me.
