Warm winter fundraiser

Hi, my name is Sinead and I am a grade 12 student at Walnut grove Secondary. For my capstone (graduation) project I chose to see what I could do to support the less fortunate in my community over the winter months. The goal is to collect clothing donations in my school and neighbourhood such as winter jackets, scarves, toques, boots, mittens and blankets. In addition to that I decided to create this gofundme page so that those who don’t have extra clothing to spare but would still like to make a contribution can donate. The money raised through this platform will be used to purchase more clothing at local thrift stores in Langley. I will be taking this money as far as I can, trying my best to buy quality clothing that is also affordable. Once my fundraising period is finished in mid January, I will be delivering bags of clothing to various homeless shelters across Langley and the Fraser valley. I also have a Facebook page dedicated to the project where I will be documenting the collection, shopping and donation processes to raise awareness for my cause. I hope to inspire people to take action in their communities and to set aside some time in their busy lives to to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Your donations are beyond appreciated by myself and could be a huge help to someone this holiday season.
