In Loving Memory of my son, Joshua

Spreading warmth, hope, and love — one coat at a time.

My son Joshua was a proud Marine with an even prouder heart. He cared deeply about Veterans, the homeless, and anyone who needed a little extra kindness. His compassion showed in everything he did — he noticed people others passed by, and he always tried to help.

After losing Joshua, I wanted to find a way to keep his spirit alive. In 2020, I started Joshua’s Jackets in his honor — a winter coat fundraiser to help people experiencing homelessness in Albuquerque. Thanks to the incredible generosity of this community, we’ve donated almost 300 coats, hats, and socks to people who needed them most.

This year, we’re doing it again. And I hope we can make an even bigger impact.

Winters in Albuquerque can be harsh, especially for those without a warm place to go. A coat isn’t just a coat — it’s safety, dignity, and a reminder that someone cares.

For me, it’s also a way to keep Joshua’s light shining in the world.
