What a year of challenges this has been!  As difficult as it has been for each of us, it is even more stressful for our homeless neighbors.  As you might imagine, the pandemic and need for social distancing brings additional challenges to the table and has created unprecedented needs.  So I need your help now more than ever.

During the winter of 1981, three individuals in Charlotte died from exposure, and a shelter was established.  Let's do all that we can to ensure that this tragedy will not be repeated.  This year, in addition to providing NEW hats, scarves, gloves, socks, and toiletries, the goal of the Warm Hands/Warm Hearts project is to also provide PPE (personal protective equipment) in the form of facial masks and hand sanitizer to the clients of the Center of Hope, Supportive Housing Communities, and the Path Outreach program.  So please give from YOUR heart so that we can warm the hearts of approximately 600 of our neighbors in need, and help to keep them safe during the upcoming winter season.
