Since its formal inception in 1834, the Wanda Cemetery has endeavored to maintain unsurpassed excellence in the level of care and maintenance of its hallowed grounds.
If you drive through the Cemetery, you will notice very well-preserved grounds, monuments of loved ones, and memorials dedicated to first responders. You will also see tributes to military veterans who have served in every conflict since the Revolutionary War.
The Wanda Cemetery, a 501(c)(13) non-profit, charitable organization is conducting its first annual fund raiser. The Cemetery is seeking your tax-deductible donation to help sustain the Cemetery.
We are asking everyone who has reserved plots, loved ones buried in the Cemetery, or who has an interest in the Cemetery to contribute to it. Financial support from the business community, family, and friends will enable the cemetery to continue its current state. Indeed, part of honoring the memory of our loved ones is seeing to the funding of the physical upkeep of the cemetery, monument maintenance, mowing, weed eating, tree limb removal and disposal, wilted flower removal and disposal, and overall maintenance of the grounds.
We appreciate your support while we take this much-needed step to maintain your cemetery. With a combined effort from everyone associated with the Cemetery - no matter how small or large the donation - we can continue to make Wanda Cemetery a pleasant place for everyone to visit and enjoy.
