Almost 2 yrs ago Celeste began complaining of hip pain. A local specialist sent her to an Orlando specialist who then sent her to a Dallas specialist. In Dallas, it was discovered that Celeste has two problems in her right hip #1 osteoid osteoma (bone tumor) & #2 femoral acetabular impingement (developmental abnormality). Both conditions require invasive surgeries. Celeste's first surgery (tumor removal) will happen Feb. 28 at Dallas Scottish Rite Children's Hospital.
