Welcome to the YUSUF GoFundMe page, where we come together to make a difference in the lives of bereaved mothers in the Burnley/Padiham area. YUSUF, which stands for Your Unique Special Unit of Friends, was established by Frankie Salmon after the heartbreaking loss of her son Yusuf to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in February 2023.

Driven by the profound impact of her personal journey, Frankie founded YUSUF with the mission to offer enhanced support and solace to grieving mothers and families. The group, based at Casual Mind Matters in Burnley, convenes every Saturday, providing a safe and nurturing space for individuals to grieve, grow, and remember their little ones.

We invite everyone to join this compassionate community, united by the common thread of loss. YUSUF is not just a support group; it's a lifeline, fostering an environment where shared experiences help heal wounded hearts.

As a testament to their strength and unity, the incredible women of YUSUF have embarked on a meaningful journey—a 5-mile sponsored walk on March 10th, coinciding with Mother's Day. This walk is dedicated to the loving memory of their babies and all other precious little ones who are no longer with us.
